Dating apps and general cultural tolerance for bullshit has created an environment where “ghosting” - the act of never responding to a prospective romantic partner despite leading them on - has become so prevalent that we have decided to do what every NGO does it DC when it confronts an existential dilemma that needs immediate redress: find meaningless data that doesn’t fix the problem at all.
